Ghost In The Machine
So it seems that the latest release (v2.06) still has some irritating bugs.. er.. I mean… “undocumented features” đ
We plan to do a patch release very soon that should resolve the known issues.  Hopefully the issues already reported surrounding loss of game state or weird behavior in selecting levels (levels you’ve already completed being locked out, losing your progress in the game etc) have been resolved.  If not, please let us know!
Thanks.
Ozzy’s Odyssey Patch Release 2.06
We have just published an update which hopefully fixes the issues some users are having with not being able to load previously completed levels.
We weren’t able to reproduce the issue here, so I’m not 100% certain that the fix will work. Â Please let us know if it doesn’t!
Sorry Elisa!
Recently a customer contacted us regarding some issues with the game. Â We’re not sure if it’s a problem with the game, or with the customer’s device but in any case the customer requested a refund.
But… there is no way for us to refund unless we have the Order Number associated with the purchase, so I emailed the customer to request this information.
Unfortunately for the customer, they are using PeoplePC as their ISP, who use a challenge/response anti-spam system. Â That’s all fine, but I tried to respond to the challenge, I was greeted with this:
So I can’t contact the customer to get their Order Number, to refund their order!
That’s OK.. I’ll just contact the support for PeoplePC… after all, they have 24/7 Live Support right?
Or maybe not….
So If you’re out there Elisa… please send me your order number!
Oh.. and for anyone else reading… may want to skip past the PeoplePC aisle when browsing for an ISP… just my opinion.
Ozzy’s Odyssey Featured on Android Market
It’s official, we’re famous. Â Well.. sort of.
After a few conversations with the good people at Google, and some last minute bug fixes, today Google has listed Ozzy’s Odyssey as a featured up under both the standard featured section, and the “Featured Tablet Apps” section.
This is a huge win for us as despite any external marketing efforts we make undertake, nothing beats being front-and-center in the Android Market.
Not sure how long we’ll retain this coveted status, but we’re just happy to have been noticed đ
